Disclosures and Important Information

Please read these disclosures carefully before applying for a merchant cash advance.

What Is a Merchant Cash Advance?

A merchant cash advance (MCA) is not a loan. It is a commercial transaction in which Y Millennial Funding purchases a portion of your business's future receivables at a discount in exchange for an upfront lump sum payment. Because an MCA is not a loan, there is no "interest rate" or APR. Instead, pricing is expressed as a "factor rate" (e.g., 1.30 means you remit $130,000 in total for a $100,000 purchase).

Factor Rates and Pricing

Factor rates vary based on business qualifications including monthly revenue, time in business, industry, bank statement health, and other underwriting criteria. Factor rates typically range from 1.15 to 1.50 depending on risk profile. The total cost of the advance is the funded amount multiplied by the factor rate.

Remittance Terms

Remittance (also called "holdback") is the percentage of your daily or weekly revenue that is collected until the purchased receivables amount is satisfied. Typical holdback percentages range from 5% to 25% of daily revenue. The remittance period varies based on your revenue volume and holdback percentage.

Funding Amounts

Y Millennial Funding evaluates funding requests from $25,000 to $5,000,000. The "up to $5M" capacity referenced on this website reflects our maximum funding capability. Actual approved amounts are determined individually based on business qualifications and underwriting. Most businesses qualify for amounts significantly lower than the maximum.

Same-Day Decisions and 24-Hour Funding

"Same-day decisions" means that applications submitted with complete documentation by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on a business day will typically receive an approval or decline decision the same business day. "24-hour funding" means that approved deals with completed documentation may receive funding within 24 hours of approval. Actual timing varies based on documentation completeness, banking processes, and other factors. Not all applications receive same-day decisions or 24-hour funding.

MCA Stacking (2nd-5th Position)

Y Millennial Funding evaluates applications from businesses that have existing merchant cash advances ("stacking"). We may fund 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th position deals when underwriting criteria are met. Stacking availability depends on your existing obligations, revenue capacity, and overall financial health. Not all stacking applications are approved. Stacking carries additional risk and may result in higher factor rates.

Qualification Requirements

To be considered for a merchant cash advance, businesses generally must:

  • Be in business for at least 3-6 months
  • Have minimum monthly revenue of $10,000-$25,000 (varies by product)
  • Have an active business bank account
  • Be a legal business entity operating in the United States

Credit score is not the primary factor in underwriting, but all applications are subject to review. Not all applicants qualify. Approval is not guaranteed.

No Guarantee of Approval

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. All funding is subject to underwriting review. Y Millennial Funding reserves the right to decline any application for any reason. Past approval does not guarantee future approval.
